Pieces start at $100 and go up from there. The final price depends on the design you choose, how much work it takes, and which fabric you want — some materials cost more or are harder to source. You'll get a firm price before any work begins.
No. Dresses are the best known part of the studio, but Lupita makes coats, blazers, suiting, trousers, shirts, blouses, skirts, children's wear and more — plus alterations and remakes of pieces you already own.
Yes. Plenty of clients bring their own material, especially when it's sentimental. If you'd rather choose from the studio, there's a wide range of fabrics and colours available.
It depends on the piece and how busy the studio is. Simple items can be quick; a detailed occasion gown or a tailored coat needs more time and at least one fitting. Tell Lupita your date and she'll say honestly whether it's possible.
That's what the fittings are for. The piece is adjusted on you until it sits properly — adjustments are part of the work, not an add-on.
Yes. Taking in, letting out, shortening, relining or restyling an existing garment is regular work here, and it's often the cheapest way to get something you love wearing again.
